These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the rules for using FrontDoor Cyber — a cybersecurity career guidance platform available at frontdoorcyber.com ("the Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
FrontDoor Cyber is operated by FrontDoor Cyber Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company based in England and Wales. If you have any questions, email us at legal@frontdoorcyber.com.
To use the Platform you must:
If you are under 18, please do not use the Platform.
You must create an account to access the Platform. When you do:
If you suspect your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us at legal@frontdoorcyber.com straight away.
We offer the following paid subscription plans:
We may also offer a Free plan with limited features. Feature availability for each plan is described on the Platform and may change from time to time.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the start of each billing period. You can view and manage your billing details from your account settings.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:
Because FrontDoor Cyber is a digital subscription service, we do not offer refunds once a billing period has started. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law — if you believe you have a valid claim, please contact us and we will consider it fairly.
We may change our subscription prices from time to time. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email. Price changes will take effect at your next renewal date. If you do not want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before your renewal date.
FrontDoor Cyber provides tools and content to help you explore and develop a cybersecurity career. This includes AI-powered features such as job analysis, CV guidance, and learning suggestions.
Important: everything the Platform provides — including any AI-generated output — is for general guidance and informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional career advice, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. We make no guarantees about job outcomes, salary expectations, or career progression.
The cybersecurity industry changes quickly. While we aim to keep content accurate and current, we cannot guarantee that all information on the Platform is complete or up to date at all times.
When you submit content to the Platform — such as job listings you paste in, CV text, or other personal information — that content remains yours. We do not claim ownership of it.
By submitting content, you give us a limited licence to use it solely to provide the Platform's features to you (for example, to process your CV through our AI tools). We will not use your content for any other purpose, and we will not sell it to third parties.
You are responsible for making sure anything you submit does not infringe the rights of others.
You must use the Platform lawfully and fairly. You must not:
If we believe you have breached these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account.
All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, AI tools, and software — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Platform for your own career development purposes while your account is active. This does not give you the right to copy, reproduce, or distribute Platform content outside of normal use.
We take your privacy seriously. How we collect, use, and protect your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
We act as the data controller for information you provide to us. If you have questions about how we handle your data, email legal@frontdoorcyber.com.
We are not responsible for any losses you suffer as a result of using the Platform, including losses that arise from:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the total amount you have paid to us in the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, to reflect changes in the law, new features, or improvements to the service. When we make material changes, we will send you an email notification and update the effective date at the top of this document.
If you continue to use the Platform after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should cancel your subscription and stop using the Platform before they take effect.
We may also change, suspend, or withdraw features of the Platform at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
You can close your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
On termination, your right to use the Platform ends. Sections of these Terms that should survive termination by their nature (such as liability, intellectual property, and governing law) will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not waive that right.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform.
